Getting saved at the age of 13, she did not quite understand the calling that God had on her life. At the age of 16 she sang a self written piece at the Motown Talent Search in Cleveland, Ohio and was requested to write and record another song. But it never happened; God had other plans for her angelic voice and songwriting abilities.
After many years of opportunity let downs, as the world would view secular music contacts. She began to grow closer in her relationship with God and with that growth she began to understand her calling.
In 1999 she met her husband LeSean Motton AKA MottonLava who also was on fire for the Lord. The two collaborated with the music that LeSean produced and the songs that Leslie wrote. Both her and her husband are active members of Hope Alliance Bible Church, Pastor Ron Morrison.
Leslie was a judge in the 2010 Miss Teen Cleveland/Akron/Youngstown Pageant with Nationals Incorporated and is now the Talent Recruiter for HizArt Entertainment's NEO Talent Search. She has also been featured on the WB’s television show SINGSATION and has been featured on songs with Gospel Artist such as Michael Fugitt, Gods Child, Anita Symone, and Laurie L as well. Leslie was interviewed on Family Life TV, which aired out of Western PA in 2005.
