Quadruple bypass!? Holy smokes Gordy, that's some major work and some really scary stuff! Really glad you pulled thru that one. Ought to give you a lot of good years now. Amazing the work they do these days. Hope you are moving to a place where you will feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I assume you'll be stayin' in Canada someplace eh? I love Canada. Spent a few summers up there as a kid and at 22, drove from Toronto to BC. Really liked eastern Manitoba.. the prairies were unique, and Lake Louise/Banff was just plain awesome. Hope to hear some new music from ya soon. Take care and go easy for a spell.

;-)) Good sound byte Gordy!...perfect touch to wind up a really well done tune. Love that ragtime touch and Arlo style delivery. You have some cool stuff in your song files. Keep a writin'!

hey Gordy...thanks for stopping by and the kind words on Leprechaun Hollow. To answer your question, it was not a tin whistle but a High Spirits "pocket flute" in high A. First time i ever tried to record with either instrument (mando tone was a "Mountain Lark", three string diatonic instrument)
Hope all is well on your end. Take care...

Thanks Gordy,
You, like all the other kind folks, were most generous in your comment. My weakest points are performance and production, as I don't consider myself a performer. I just give it a shot, doing straight recordings, layered directly one upon another. I haven't tried multi-tracking in the sense of how it's supposed to work, so the production will always suffer. I'd suppose what I do is more like SOS, sound on sound....record a track, play it back and recording it again with whatever else that I'm adding....like bass or harmonica. So, I don't have the capability of moving around, decreasing or increasing the different aspects of the sounds....it's just what you hear, is what you get. Anyway, always feel free to tell it as you see or rather hear it....I appreciate your honesty and that's all I ask of anyone. Thank you for taking time, it's most appreciated!!!
Respectfully,
Wade

hey Gordy...thanks for the visit. You are one of very few who got the irony in Prophet of Peace. Very perceptive of you. Had another listen to People Still Dream and was again impressed...alot of work went into that one...nice harmonies and i liked the bass tone as well. You're an excellent writer.

Hi Gordy...thanks for the visit and all the reviews. Kinda figured you were an old hippy too after the Missle Blues tune! You're a good writer and i'm looking forward to digging further into your catalog over the winter. By all means drop a link whenever you post a new tune and i'll swing by.

Thank you for the feedback!
Hi Gordy, just found your reply from April. I was a bit concerned! They don't seem to alert you when you've had a message on here. Sorry you've not been doing much musically, but good to hear you intend to get back into it. If you're interested, I've finally uploaded some videos taken from a couple of Concerts I did to YouTube and they can be found under "Virtual Biscuit Live"
