What I souldn't give to play MLB...
Aug 1, 2008
Baseball is my favorite sport. My team is the Yankees, but now that Torre's gone, I'm thinking of buying a Dodgers hat too. Especially now that Manny Ramirez is going to LA. How sweet is that for both the Yankees AND the Dodgers. Oh well, Beantown is still number 1.
I've always dreamed of playing baseball. What I wouldn't give to be a DH for just one inning. Or a pinch runner. I would run like the wind.

An Apology for an Apologia.

Have you ever noticed that threatening to commit suicide or actually committing suicide is the only way any Muslim other than Kristian Amanpour ever makes it on ANY NEWS CHANNEL in the US? Just for once, I'd like to have a nice polite sit down chat between a Muslim and a Jewish person.
Yes, I threatened to commit suicide so that John McCain and John Edwards as a Unity08.com ticket would be talked about BEFORE the divisive, rancor-filled, nomination process began. Does that mean I don't like Barak Obama? OF COURSE NOT! At this point in American History, we are in a no lose situation as far as leadership change is concerned. I actually concidered changing my name to Barak, back when I wanted to convert to Judaism.
I am sorry that I staged the whole suicideforpeace.blogspot.com crap. I kind of flew off the handle when Wolf Blitzer called me a "Suicidal Maniac". And never reported on Unity08.com EVER AGAIN!
I enjoy living and I'd like it to stay that way for a good number of years. If you actually read what I wrote on that blog, I think you'll change your tune about me the same way I changed my tune about myself. Please forgive me.
I feel bad enough about myself without full blown media entrapment and misrepresentation toward me.

Sunrise, Sunset
Jan 14, 2007

The days are really flying by. I can't believe it's the middle of January already. Additionally, I can't believe how warm it is for this time of year. Now, I know there are a lot of theories out there about global warming and climate change and whether or not we as humans have a role to play, but I ACTUALLY KNOW EXACTLY WHY THIS IS HAPPENING.
On May 15th, 2004, all of the planets in the solar system were aligned. Now, compared with the sun, none of the planets in the solar system really have that much gravitational pull. When they are all aligned, however, it's quite a different story.
On that day and for several weeks prior to that day, there were cataclysmic events all thoughout the world. (The earthquake in Bam, Iran; The tsunami in the Indian Ocean; Hurricaine Katrina; Floods; You name it...) Until the earth reaches equalibrium from this astronomical event, there are going to be some drastic fluctuations in winds, precipitation, jet stream patterns, and geothermal activity. Even though the outer planets like Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus are no longer adding eccentricity on our orbit and slowing the rotation of our crust and mantle, the inner planets are still in close range and affect these aspects of our planet's solar identity.
I hope this has helped you understand why Al Gore is a man who should be respected and heeded. There is more to global warming than just the position of the planets, but there is more to understanding than only regurgitating what other people tell you. Never forget that.
Anyway, it's almost 10 on Sunday. Time for church.
