The Indianapolis native, who is regarded as the country's No. 1 Christian urban pop artist, put on a dynamic almost evangelistic concert Wednesday night at White River Valley Junior-Senior High School gym. An estimated 1,500-2,000 students and adults listened, danced, yelled and screamed and lifted their hands in praise for several hours during what KD likes to call his "Christian entertainment show." The music was very loud ---- room-shaking loud. But his message was clear and reverberated with the youngsters who crowded the stage for most of the night and were turned into a near-frenzy state as Johnson, wearing sunglasses, a glove on his left hand, and a huge gold chain necklace and cross, belted out his tunes and danced in the fashion made famous by the late pop star Michael Jackson. On his new album "The Re-Evaluation" you will find songs about relationship, faith and love for Jesus. Fifteen minutes before the door opened, KD led a prayer with his crew, concert staff members, and bands. -Story by Nick Schneider, Assistant Editor GCdailyworld.com The DVD of the live show will be available at the beginning of the year! catch a home made style sneak peak here: Youtube.com/kdtheprince
