Where Is Your Music Career Going Questions: · Do you have what it takes to make it in the music business? · · Have you done your homework? · · Do you have a plan? These are just a few questions you need to ask yourself before you. · Spend a fortune on equipment and demos · Frustrating your self running around from band to band. · Wasting hundreds maybe thousands of dollars on media shouts and press. Yes I know, this dose not sound like the business that we love so very much but yes, it is and that’s just the beginning. The love of music has driven many of people mad and straight out of their minds. Most times this love starts way back in childhood, at lease it did for me. I remember hearing the Motown songs on the radio and thinking wow. I just couldn’t get enough of it. My older sister would spin her 45’s Yes, 45’s. For those of you who don’t know what a 45 is, no it’s not a gun. :-) We’re talking vinyl here. The days when playing and listening to music was an even in itself. I did not know it then but it was taking hold of me and shaping my life and future. One day I picked up my mothers wooden spoon and realized how much it resembled a drumstick, so I went and got the other one. Needless to say, every time she needed them to mix a cake or to woop my behind she could never find them, “lucky for me” because I would have them somewhere drumming up a storm, beating on anything that remotely sounded like a drum. And So My Story Begins. ***Tell me how you got started***
