Got another blog over at: https://stinasman.blogspot.com. Talk about stuff in there I don't feel right talkin' 'bout in here. Like Erdheim-Chester Disease. I hadn't heard of it either, 'til they diagnosed me with it :-) . Oops!! Mentioned that before. Sorry!

Got a diagnosis of Erdheim-Chester Disease. Very rare. But, reacts well to Interferon-Alpha. A sigh of relief there.

Right now is a difficult time for us. We're dealing with a growth in my head called a "Xanthogranuloma". Basically, it's fatty, yellow scar tissue and is so rare in the brain, they can't get research grants to test procedures/treatments. They are going to try radiation, and this may happen at Emory in Atlanta. This thing began around my pituitary gland, grew out to surround my carotid arteries and is now into the backs of my eyes. But, my faith says, "He ain't gonna drop me". God's right here beside me all the way and will give me the strength to handle whatever's next.
