I changed my stage name to dotdotdotmallory because Suno wants me to sing female and there’s too many Megalos out there now. This is where I will keep my demos. I’m sorry I can’t allow downloading because I’m worried someone is trying to steal my work. A lot of times when I go to cover something with Suno it won’t let me saying it’s copyrighted. After I deleted the Meglodave account on SoundCloud someone else registered the name. I’m worried they might try and download my songs and steal my identity.
I have been putting my music on the net since the late 90’s. I started with my own website with real audio. I hooked up with SoundClick in 2000. I was inactive for several years, but I picked it back up when one of my friends died. I make music mainly for me. I suffer from severe paranoia and it helps me cope. I also listen while walking and I walk longer and farther. I call it making tea because I am involved in the process and it’s not pop music. I am grateful SoundClick keeps my music and hasn’t deleted anything since I started 20 some years ago. That’s why I became a pro member and promote from time to time. I don’t feel bad about “cheating”. I waited 30 years for the technology to be where I knew it would be one day. I am not ashamed to say GarageBand is my instrument.
My skills are more productive than performance oriented.
The first band I really liked was The Who. I like the Psychedelic Furs, Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, David Bowie, and the like, but I dont try to play what I listen to.
I mostly use GarageBand on iPad. No external Instruments. Some of the earliest songs were done with my casio. I really like GarageBand on the iPad. It fits me perfectly.
I get ghosts in my music from time to time. I think there are musicians who would of wanted to be a musical hermit like me. I think they smile on me sometimes.
