Consisting of Veteran Musicians from different yet same backgrounds, "MEANTIME" has emerged once again after a Name Change that occured recently (formerly Mister Meaner). We are striving to make a difference in the world of Rock & Metal with our diverse and signiture sound. Influenced by the Great Bands of the 80's and Early 90's, we want to bring out the Old Schoold Metal sound from the Dead. Check out our Music and New CD coming in '06.Band/artist history
Formed in 2001 under the Name "Surreal", we had 4 members in the Band at this time and played a different more main-stream style too. In 2003 we parted with 2nd Guitarist Larry Williams, and formed "Mister Meaner" which is the current style you are hearing now. We ran into issues with the Name in 2006 and had to Change it. Now we are "MEANTIME" and we love the Name even more than the previous, so it worked out Great for us!Have you performed in front of an audience?We Play anywhere we can and are always looking for Cool Bands to Play GIGS with. Special Moment would have to be when we put on the Chowchilla Music Festival in March of 2006 with 10 Great Bands!

Kuhno uses BC RICH Guitars, Peavy Amps, and a Bad Ass Boss Pedal. Josh uses Galen Kruger Heads, Ampeg Speakers, and Ibanez Basses. Chad uses Pacific Drums, Gibralter Double Bass, and ONLY the Best VIC FIRTH Sticks!.
