One One
Shamisen sampled from God knows where. String section stolen from some old movie. Hard and slow beat. A great song to play when you're chasing down some vampires or something.
Two Two
I don't know - does this sound Japanese? There's some bhangra beats in the background. The stringed twang is Shamisen, but the melody and rhythm of it are more Indian sounding.
Three Three
The astute among you may recognize that guitar droning in the background as belonging to a little band called Nirvana. Chanting monks, double-time tamborines, and 808 bass drums round out the mix.
Four Four
This is one of the more Japanese-sounding of the sampled shamisen pieces I have. A good song to get you amped up to do battle against the invading robot armies.
Five Five
Is that an orchestra I hear? With a whining synthesizer? More video game material. Loud, otherworldly, dramatic.
