Blues musician and songwriter Marty Christian moved from Austin, TX to the French creole lands of Lafayette, LA when he joined up as the guitarist for Thomas Big Hat Fields Zydeco Band in 2003. There he began to focus on his own songwriting and powerful acoustic shows that blend original songs with the sounds of Louisiana, Texas and the spirit of the Delta Blues.
Since Bluesicanas release, Marty has traveled the country as a solo artist, performed in Spain and opened for Spencer Bohren, Grayson Capps, Toni Price and more - His shows have brought audiences a passionate vision of Blues-based music - one that involves understanding the past while forming a way to the future!
