I’ve been singing other people’s songs as long as I can remember, and writing stuff for ages, but it only occurred to me to put the two together a few years ago. This is the first real song I wrote. I wrote it for my mother (who’s part Yugoslav) during the Kosovo conflictbut I guess that’s not the only thing it could be about.

I have a lot more songs now, which I just need to get around to recording, but people still seem to like this one the best, which is why it’s on here.

Yes, at my unniversity, we held concerts.

And I play at local jazz bars.
