This is the first real song I wrote. I wrote it for my mother (who’s part Yugoslav) during the Kosovo conflict…but I guess that’s not the only thing it could be about.
Ive been singing other peoples songs as long as I can remember, and writing stuff for ages, but it only occurred to me to put the two together a few years ago. This is the first real song I wrote.
