Band/artist history
The Beginning: I was born in Kinshasa (*** Democratic Republic of Congo ***, Ex-Zaïre) on October 20th, 1979. Quite small already I was a fan of anything that was rhythmic, in the kind, my first reference was Michael Jackson (it is necessary to begin somewhere and furthermore I am even very satisfied to have known him first). Even if I am not any more as much a fan of him as I was when I was 8, I always keep a deep respect for his works. In Kinshasa I began (I was 12 years old more or less) to make some music with some friends, we just had one cheap synthesizer, a recorder (a stupid ass radio), boxes and sticks that we were using for the percussions. I did not compose music in this time, I wrote and I interpreted my texts. Influences: Influenced by French rappers and especially MC Solaar my lyrics were hot! and already in this time certain posses in my ‘hood asked me to sell them my lyrics. In fact my "musical career" never extended, early I dropped out at the same moment of the writing and the French rap. However, in the early 90s I quickly discovered my American references. LL Cool J, Public Enemy, NWA, Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Naughty By Nature, EPMD, and many other rappers and posses at that time were everything I was about. Even in RnB I was fast to acknowledge the existence of Guy, Jodeci, Boys II Men, R. Kelly, Bell Biv Devoe, etc. However certain artists stay for me more than simple references, they are the personification of the musical styles in which they evolve or evolved. They are for me: Tupac Shakur aka Makaveli (Rap), Keith Sweat (RnB), Sade (Soul). The Producers: Even before having really produced some music (in 2001), I always paid attention on the various melodies in all that I listened to. As much as feel lyrics, the “beat” always touched me a lot. Here are some of the main producers I was interested to for a long time: Roger Troutman, Teddy Riley, BabyFace, R.Kelly, Trackmasters, JD, Dr Dre, Dat Nigga Daz, Devante Swing, Johnny J, QD3, Timbaland, Swizz Beat, The Neptunes, damn ! The list is long believe me. ;-)

Your musical influences
I just tell it in the band history.
Anything else?
I don't care if y'all thinking my beats are weak or talentless, y'all can't just listen to a beat and appreciate it, that make y'all haters who thinks that an original composition must looks like one of your production. Y'all thinks that it must be like a Dr Dre, a Neptunes or anybody type of shit. If you are one of these people who thinks that only their friends on Soundclick are hot, please don't even continue on my pages, my beats ain't for y'all.
