Major League is a group that was started by 2 family members from Boston (Dorchester)"Sunny and Yung Dee" and a friend from Miami (South Dade)"Big Rei". "We eventually met each other in Angola (Africa) after 2 years of being out of the U.S. I wasn't doing so well in my school and getting into 2 much trouble so my moms sent me to go live with my pops over here." - says Rei. The two other were DP'd, and being a national of Angola, were forced to live there. "I met Sunny on the block one day when i was just chilling drinking a bottle of whiskey with some boys. We soon cliqued up becaz of our common interests (blazing, rapping, and getting hoes) and we started working on our rapping thing. Dee got there, and everything just set-off, we started talking to investors, beatmakers, video makers, everything. People be like, damn yal are in africa dat shit is crazy... but to me its like a second less advanced version of the U.S. There is rap here and U.S. quality angolan rap videos. Plus deres treez to blaze up (a dime actually costs about a dime). Very fine girls here, buildings, oh and lets not forget gangs. Kids start thuggin here at an early age of like 10. The whole works you know, stabbin shooting robbin pitching rocks treez all that. I aint trying to promote the violence though caz its a very sad thing to see a bunch of children wasting their life like that. Sunny - Angolan born parents Cape Verdian raised partly in the states and angola now currently 22.Have you performed in front of an audience?We did this freestyle once at the end of a Felipe Dylon concert(one of the biggest artists in Brazil) in Sao Vicente, Sao Paulo. Another time in Angola.
