Magnetfisch are a Swiss electro pop band playing since 1998. The crystal voice of their singer Seline is accompanied by atmospheric melodies. Patrick's guitars and Timo's synthesizers are the backbone of the music either gently underlining the clear voice. Rolf's bass guitar is furnishing an energetic backup all the while.Band/artist history
Timothée Barrelet (keys, programming) and Patrick Scherrer (guitars) had been songwriting in another band (luckily disolved) since 1994 when they found Magnetfisch in 1998. In 2002, Rolf Althaus joined the band and has enriched their sound ever since with his bass lines and their particular groove. Seline Kunz became the singer in June 2004.

second album: Silence Fiction 2003 (Helvetic Production)Have you performed in front of an audience?For now, we have played in Switzerland only, including the country's major cities: Bern, Zurich, Basel. While we appreciate each and every concert for the contact with the audience, the "electronica meets poetry" events (together with the poet Pedro Lenz) are particular because of the reflectiveness.

My old Yamaha PSR 6700 (bought it in 1992 and intend to keep it forever!) and a younger Yamaha Synthesizer, Dr Drum (boss) rythm machine, MC 80 Roland (Sequencer), Evolution Midi Keyboard, Akai S2000 SamplerAnything else?
The second album of the quartet was released in 2003 : silence fiction (helvetic productions).
