Mad Scientists
progressive folk sexy dylanesque cracked and hacked, stacked and blacked out.

High Flying High Flying
I did this song with my friends Josh and Geronimo playing the instruments which I do not at the studio in south Dade last year (drums -n- sax). It's an oldie but goodie and we had a good time with it.

Tarantacula Tarantacula
Tarantacula is the spider-like demon-beast which lives within you. This song is your battle against him.

Better Things Better Things
This is an instrumental/acoustic version of a blues song. If you're annoyed by the quality of my other tracks, this one won't annoy you as much.

Top o Da Werld Top o Da Werld
This song is about my old lady. I did it at her apartment after she went to work one day last November. Sometimes, by the way, I record songs with my laptop cause that's all I have.

Hey Bald Man Hey Bald Man
This is a song I wrote in 2006 for a film produced and directed by Michael McShane (look him and the film, The Votive Pit, up on imdb.com).
This is my solo project. I am the Mad Scientists. We (I) have done very few live performances over the years and have stuck mostly to the recorded medium. Mostly because of difficulties (currently being overcome) with performing multiple instruments all at one time while singing and entertaining.
The latest upload is a song called High Flying. It's not exactly a finished song, it actually never has been (I wrote it like 5 years ago, but it's been developing since.) The lyrics are a little bit different than they are now, but not alot. I really think you'll like it.
The music found here goes way back to 1999 and all the way to the present day. I'll probably let you know somewhere in a song description around what time period that song is from. Back when MP3 sites like this were run like saloons in wild west, we (I) had a number one hit on MP3.com. I made a whopping $72.33US. And I only got that because I bought my own CD. Remember that, buy your own CD and you will go far.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
My musical influences are broad. Bob Dylan, Phish, Beatles, Zep, Floyd, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Flecktones, modern rock, 90s hip hop, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars...
The coolest thing I have is a '72 Fender Bassman head that I almost never use. I have a small but growing collection of low wattage tube amps. I use SM57s for recording almost everything; there is nothing quite like them. I also have a delta1010lt soundcard from m-audio and a Boss MicroBR (which is pretty cool. I can carry it wherever I go, it lasts about six hours on two AA batteries if I need it to. It has drums, effects, etcetera.) Also, I have a Roland Microcube, which completes my miniature recording studio.
I love coffee, my woman, my dog, and music and not neccessarily in that order... Sometimes though, but mostly never. Nothing ever fluctuates from that top 4, ever. I'd mention my family, but then you would think I didn't have cred as an artist.
