Piano Techno - Golden Dawn Piano Techno - Golden Dawn

All sounds are created by an acoustic piano, an acoustic metronome, or by live mixing tricks. The composition is minimalist in a techno way, and may remind you to Johannes Heil.

Acoustic Piano

Naamloos (Nameless) Naamloos (Nameless)

A dreamy piano song from the time I wasn't good in making up titles.

Verboden Liefde (Forbidden Love) Verboden Liefde (Forbidden Love)

A song I wrote at age 15 about my first love. It was my intention to vary between angry and frustrated, and very intimate parts.

My Very First Song My Very First Song

I wrote it at age 12. I never named it decently, so suggestions are welcome!

Wintertuin (Winter Garden) Wintertuin (Winter Garden)

A piano song I wrote at age 14. Inspired by a view on a garden covered with snow.

Contemporary

You want something out of the ordinary? Music from a mind that doesn't stick to one style? The sounds of someone who's skills vary from classical music, powerfull piano songs to even techno? Then be my guest! :)
Band/artist history
Well, band, ... it's just me actually. Just a guy who's composing since his 12th birthday.
Your musical influences
I've been only classical influenced for a long time. Brahms and Bartók were (and still are!) my absolute favourits. But my taste has been enlarged to almost everything that's instrumental (or at least non-vocal), including even techno! Mike Oldfield's music helped me a lot on that, and he has been a big source of inspiration too. Besides them, I'm influences by too many artists to mention. As long as it's non-vocal and not too simple (I like complexity!), I'm probably influenced by it. :)
What equipment do you use?
Just some software, for electronic thingies. And a Weinbach uprighted piano for - of course - piano playing.
Anything else?
