Death/Black Metal

Lupine Moon embraces elements of black, death, doom, gothic, thrash, and many other forms of Metal. Sometimes hard and aggressive, sometimes soft and melodic. LM implements a wide range of style and versatility, while delivering every note with the utmost intensity. LM strives to take Metal to new places, while maintaining the fundamental elements of it's roots.
Band/artist history
Biography Lupine Moon was conceived in August of 2002, and would eventually become a one-man project. The original idea was to assemble an actual band, where I would handle the guitar work and songwriting only. I first recruited my friend, and damn good bass player, Pete Black. Pete and I had been jamming together for quite some time before I came up with the concept of LM, and we continued to work on music together as we sought to find a drummer. We tried out a few different ones, but for one reason or another, nothing panned out. After searching for nearly a year, and to no avail, it began to get a bit frustrating. In early 2003, things would take another frustrating turn. Pete had taken on a more demanding job which required much more of his time. Due to this, and military obligations, our practice sessions became seldom and finally, Pete informed me of his decision to bow out of the project. There were no hard feelings and I fully respected his decision. By this time, I had already written several songs and recorded a good deal of the guitar tracks for what would be the first release, "Blood of the Wolf". Not wanting to lose momentum, I eventually made the decision to handle all instruments/vocals myself. Obviously, live performances are impossible without a band, but perhaps that will change in the future. Should the right opportunity present itself, I may still consider assembling a full band and taking the music to the stage.
