Singer,Songwriter&Producer Lemar a.k.a L-Unique is a contemporary R&B/Hip Hop artist out of Trenton, New Jersey. He started at a young age writing rhymes and taught himself how to rap, later becoming one of the hottest underground MC’s in South Jersey. As a child he heard music played all the time around the home and remembers hearing his mom singing to all the classic R&B songs. He soon realized that he had an immense passion for singing.

He started working on demos and also got into producing and creating instrumental tracks for other artists in and around the Tri-State area (new York, New Jersey, Philadelphia). As a producer/engineer his mixing and mastering skills are well respected and he is known as “the go to guy” to get a mix.

His soulful R&B vocal styling’s have been compared to R.Kelly, David Hollister and Musiq Soulchild, while his songwriting skills evoke memories of Curtis Mayfield. Most of his songs are musical compositions he has written, sung and produced himself. He is a truly talented and gifted artist who is trying to bring back soul and passion into music as well as creating songs with insightful messages.
