Luke Myers has always had music in his blood. Growing up in Atlanta, where he still resides, he spent his childhood singing in choirs, touring to such places as the United Kingdom and Poland. He began teaching himself piano at the age of 12, and his only formal training was listening to the music of the masters. With a desire for performance, he got his first taste of captivating listeners playing for a local church, where he accompanied, as well as performed in several musicals.
Now at the age of 20, this singer/songwriter has begun work on his first album.. His personal lyrics, and powerfully emotional voice evoke the influence of artists such as Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan. Although shy and soft-spoken, his passion for creating and performing music takes over when he gets in front of the keys. He hopes to finish and release the album by the fall of 2004.Contact
