I would say, that playing live is what it's all about. If you sound great on a record, that's one thing, but if you can get (and keep) the attention of an audience, then you've got something special.

I grew up listening to bands like Yes, Genesis, Rush, King Crimson, The Beatles, and Crowded House. I would say that the music that I write is like Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and The Catherine Wheel. Yeah, like that.
