I am a local Gospel Artist in Atlanta, Ga. I am 16 yrs. old & I am very talented. My special talents are Singing, Rapping (Gospel), and playing the keyboard. Also, I write lots of Gospel songs. Up to date, I have written well over 25 songs! I believe that God above has given me the strength & talent to pursue my dream of getting into the music industry. I have multiple talents. First off, I can sing really well. I have won many local talent shows. In addition, I also have past experience with working in the radio field as a CO-Host on WLOU & WLLV located in
Louisville, KY.
I have been perusing my goal of getting my music heard by record labels. But, unfortunately, I have no way of getting my music heard simply b/c record labels usually don't accept "unsolicited material" from artist. I am determined to get my music heard by the music reps & companies. I have the integrity to press along the heavenly highway of Gospel singing/rapping.
By the grace of the Lord I just hope that he will open the door to getting my music heard. I want to show the world that God is still alive! I believe that the world needs to hear the word of God & spirit. Therefore, I have written a variety of songs, which range from: contemporary to down south gospel. I also have incorporated into some of my songs a new style of Gospel that I know will have a "Big" influence on the world's kids & teenagers today. Most of the teenagers don't listen to Gospel simply because the "beat" isn't up to their expectations. But guess what, my music is sure to change all of those speculations.
My vision is to introduce a new style of Gospel music. My music is very diversified.
I have written hip-hop, contemporary, down south, traditional, & jazz style Gospel songs. As a young teenager, I will show the world what God has done for me. God has an angel watching over me, and I know he will be with me every step of the way.
If you are ready to be amazed by how much God has blessed me with given me the ability to write such great songs & have such good talent, then I ask that you give me the opportunity to show why I know that God has & will forever move (through my music) the many souls that cry out to be held by his loving arms.
After listening to my demo, I assure you that God is in the mix in everyway possible through the inspirations of my music.

My goals, experience, and aspirations
In The Beginning
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and then in 1987 he created Calvin Brown, Jr. Calvins parents knew there was something different about him when at the age of 2, he could listen to music on the radio and emulate the beat he had heard with spoon, sticks, or whatever he could find to simulate a percussion sound. Approximately two years later, Calvin began playing the actual drums with no formal training. However, at age 8 he received some training from the music department at his school and began singing and rapping to the music he was creating. Calvin has a natural gift and recognizes with conviction that his talent comes from GOD Almighty.
Calvins creativity with original music spawned poetry (to rap by) and song writing by age 9. After winning a double talent award at the 5th Annual Youth Talent Showcase in 1997, he received a one-year performing arts scholarship. Upon acceptance of his scholarship, Calvin attended the Millner School of Music located in Atlanta, Georgia and was featured as lead vocalist on a class produced CD. This production was a class project and naturally he received high honor, A!! With Calvin, every round goes higher and higher as of September 1998, Calvin attended the Soap Stone Performing Arts School through February 1999.
Calvin is very articulate and has a very outgoing personality with great aspirations of becoming a Singer/Producer/Musician. He has already plotted his course for success and plans a music career of gospel. In preparation for his first show, Calvin participated in a radio internship at WLOU/WLLV Radio in Louisville, Kentucky The Program Director, James Ford and his staff trained him during the summer of 1998. Calvin also served as CO-Host of The Mid Day Gospel Hour with James Ford. In addition, he was also full-time Weather Announcer for the entire internship. WLOU/WLLV had offered Calvin a job for the summer as the full-time Youth Announcer.
Calvin has received multiple awards for making the Honor Roll at his school. He has made the Honor Roll every year he has attended school to date. Calvin is also a straight A student and shows respect to everyone he knows including his parents. He is a very determined person that will never give up even if the devil places obstacles in his pathway of success.
Currently, at age 16 Calvin attends Creekside High School in Fairburn, Ga. He uses his God given talent to spread the Lords word using the lyrics of his music. Calvin has strong ambitions of faith in the Lord and knows that God will make a way out of no way for him.
His one wish is to be given a chance to show his true talents that will result in him landing a career in the Music Industry. Calvin is ready to make his mark in the Gospel World!!!Have you performed in front of an audience?I live in Atlanta, Ga. I like performing live anywhere i get engagements.
