Iris Litchfield is a mathematician turned composer. She started composing classical contemporary piano music only 6 years ago and already has music on CDs in the UK, America, France, Holland and Korea. One of her pieces is shortly to be used in the soundtrack of a big French/Australian film. Another piece is on a CD-ROM advertising the famous Four Seasons Hotel in Paris. She has a First Class Honours degree in mathematics from London University. Her hobbies are: playing the saxophone and sport - watching and participating.
Band/artist history
Iris started playing the piano at the age of 5 with a lady who used to hit her hands every time she played a wrong note! In spite of this she has passed all the practical exams for the piano and clarinet. She has teamed up with Chick Holland of Lahaina UK to produce her latest CDs "Autumn Shadows" and "Nature's Symphony". She composed and played the piano pieces and Chick orchestrated them expertly.

Hello Iris, I came to listen to your music. "Lost Love" - expresses such sadness! "Forgotten Summers" - does what you set out to do. "Sea of Tranquillity" - you do convey accurately your mood! Good for you! best, michael palmieri
