PayDaBoy aka LiL Playboy, CEO / Underground Rapper from Southeast San Diego, Ca is slowly making his way into the rap game. At 21 years old he has self produced 4 albums (3 solo albums and 1 Mixtape). His first album was recorded in 1998 titled "The life that I live." This album was recorded on acid 2.0 with a generic computer mic (sound quality wasn't all there), so he decided not to push the album out to the streets.
In 2000 he upgraded to Acid 3.0 and an performance mic and managed to make an album he felt was alright to start pushing out to the public. After selling the album "The Truth: Nothin But The Truth" in California (San Diego) and Virginia (VA beach), he managed to make enough money to purchase a Digidesign Interface Controller, ProTools studio software, and a RHODE condenser mic.
After purchasing this equipment all of independently pushing his music he creates his latest project called "Southeast Representatives (Mixtape Volume 1)," where he found local liquor stores and swap meets to push his CDs to customers throughout San Diego.
In 2003, he started making a name for his self off this Mixtape with nothing but back-to-back hits of music. Currently he is working on his sophmore solo album "Can't Knock Tha Hustle" ready to drop for summer 2004. Make sure you cop it when it's available.
