LGC wants you to embrace the Silver City...
Band/artist history
First album "Welcome to Liberty Gun Club" bombed critically and commercially in 2006. The follow-up "Little Stars and Little Monsters", despite being quite good I reckon, did little to improve the situation in 2007.
2008 saw the release of an enhanced version of "Welcome", renamed "The Golden Monkey Sessions" to exploit interest in Phillip Pullman's dark (and various other) materials. This cynical ploy also failed.
Rumours abound that new material to rival any of the LGC back catalogue will surface in 2009.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
You've got to be joking.
Your musical influences
LGC enjoy all kinds of music, but aspire to create a new genre: eco-folk-psych-rock. If you think you can hear any influences in there, that's just recycling.
What equipment do you use?
I swear by Korg 4-tracks and Yamaha keyboards.
Anything else?
I suggest Jacobs crackers with Flora Light and a cup of tea (1 sugar).
