My name is Libby Johnson. I do some songwriting as well as singing. In my spare time i like to write songs and sing.
Band/artist history
I am a Danville Illinois Native and sang with the likes of Wayne Jenkins, Gary Ritter, and Southern Comfort band. I performed with local bands from the age of 21. Wayne Jenkins was a god on the blues guitar and will always be my main influence, but Im proud of the work I did with all these bands.I am also much appreciative of Lou Dibello and Kelly Hazel formely from Blanche Talley. These guys always shredded it out and planted a seed in me that grew to potential and still is.Thanks's Guyz!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do public performances where I live. I am in the works at trying to put a band together.
Your musical influences
Its a wide range...I guess my main influences right now this year..would have to be Shooter Jennings, Big N Rich, Gretchen Wilson. I also like old school such as Johnnie Taylor and the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn. I like all kinds of music.
What equipment do you use?
I have fruity loops on my computer, and am working on getting a studio built.
