leg up cut up is a band from the quad cities of illinois.. our music has been described by William Townsend Harris as "in your face, agressive post-vulcan grunge". we're not tough.Band/artist history
the base for leg up cut up was founded in the summer of 2003, when scottie and carl began jamming and writing songs together. back then we were known as "fuck everything that isn't fun". we just wanted to cut the shit and make fun music. there were a few drummers on and off, most notably jake schulte, who played with us for a couple months around the time we changed our name to leg up cut up, and played with us for our first show (october 2004). shortly after that show jake got really busy with work and had to quit the band. in november we found another drummer. his name was dylan and we knew he was the perfect dude for the job.Have you performed in front of an audience?yes, we play house shows and other small venues suck as legion halls.
