Hey, excellent music!
In a word, what I really like about your music is "clarity".
Good luck!

Laura, a little birdie whispered in my ear and well, here I am and I absolutely love your song Square One. You remind me a little of Mindy Smith, you two play very similar styles on the guitar but your voice is a bit lower than hers. Anyway, so glad I found you cause I really enjoyed your song and I will be back for more.
Take care

Laura,
I've meant to leave a message on this board for some time and am now getting to it. I really love your voice, it's beautiful, so clean and clear, and emotional when it needs to be. You sound so much like a young Joan Baez, I also hear Lucy Kaplansky in your vocals at times, and Bree Sharp. Perfect voice for folk songs.
My fav song of yours here posted is Fair Weather Friend, probably because I relate to it so heavily, haha. But I love the melody and the words, great song. Sure hope to hear some more songs from you someday. Keep on writing and creating, and thanks for sharing it with us! :)

Thank you, Laura Harris. You've accomplished what most singer-songwriters want to do and usually fail miserably at: Make your entire point with just the songs. There's no hype up front that twists one into pressing the play button. But after hearing these songs (and I listened to all of them) I wanted to know more about this writer and more about the performer - like where did she come from, and where can I hear her live? I was intrigued by the lack of explanation and details on your Soundclick site - no bio, only one tiny photo, no printed lyrics, no "story behind the song" - just the songs themselves. Well it works! The songs are fresh, the voice is strong and expressive and controlled and very pleasing. The guitar is not the usual folksy, barely adequate three chord "can't you just feel it" schlock. It's journeyman, interesting progressions that make sense, appeal to musical aesthetics, and move the story along. The lyrics are personal but can be identified with by just about

Oh, Laura, what a beautiful, beautiful singer you are. I listened to "Here I Am," and I am totally smitten with that voice. The song is very good also, very touching, very natural. I wish you many listeners and much success.
