we're a hardcore punk trio.Band/artist history
we are lace, a lovely 3-piece all female hardcore band from the not so lovely denton, texas. we are jenny forder on guitar and vocals, robyn rosenfelt on bass, and cherry denison on drums. we use to have another guitarist, matt campbell, but he quit because he was tired of playing with girls. on these demos we recorded earlier this year he was on them. too much estrogen i guess. we arent that great a band but we just like to have fun with our agression.
we first got together in december 2002 and started writing songs with the influence of hole, veruca salt, and hardcore/screamo type music like poison the well, thursday, and thrice. we play shows every once in a while and we usually get a good crowd response... for some reason. thats about it.Your musical influences

I don't know where Denton is but I hope it's close to Chicago. I'd love to see ya sometime. Whoever is doing the vocals reminds me of Andrea Zollo's voice, pre- Pretty Girls Make Graves (aka Death Wish Kids). "Used" is a really really good song. Please e-mail when you put something to tape or CD or whatever...mp3's can only go so far.
