A Connecticut native now residing in San Diego, Kristin Banks is catching the attention of many industry pros.

Her debut CD "House of Echoes" is a contemporary pop project, with a sound most frequently compared to Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.

Building on the critical acclaim of "House of Echoes", Kristin continues to showcase songs from the CD in live performances, as well as on the Internet site MP3.COM.

Kristin has been featured numerous times on MP3.COM, including the "Artist Spotlight", "Song Of The Day", "Hot New MP3" and "Featured Love Song".

The songs "City Of Angels", "These Dreams Of Mine" and "Jewel In Your Crown" have all reached the #1 spot in their genre charts.

Kristin began her musical training at Hartt School of Music at the age of thirteen.

She continued her education at Syracuse University, where she majored in Musical Theater.

Prior to launching her solo career, Kristin fronted the country/dance band Ramblin' Rose.

Live performance continues to be an integral part of Kristin's musical expression.

Kristin is currently performing with her new band, where she features her original music at local San Diego venues. She continues to set up industry showcases in both the San Diego and Los Angeles

areas also.
