Kick Ass Texas Music - the way it ought to be played, is the chosen label for the Kings of the Motel 6. Kevin Havron on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, combined with the awesome guitar riffs of Chris "Hurricane" Touchton, Kerry Klein "The Man In Black" on the bass, and our newest addition James "The Terrible" Beeson , formerly of Ma Ferguson. They are on constant rotation on 98.1 KVET and had a brief stint on the WB program Elimidate taped Live at Hanover's back in Janruary of this year. Not to metion opening this year for the following great acts: Don Walser, David Alan Coe, Rusty Wier, Ricky Trevino, and Tommy Shane Stiener to name a few. Once you see, hear, and feel the energy from one of their shows, you will be back for more.Have you performed in front of an audience? We play up to 6-7 times any given week. Right now we are all over Central Texas, playing in places such as: The Cotton Club (Granger), Copeland Inn & Dance Hall (Copeland), Hanvoer's (Pflugerville), Saxon Pub (Austin), Hill's Cafe (S. Austin), River Palace (Johnson City) to name a few. KM6 has become popular around town, and we have been hunted down so to speak by well known bands to open for them. It's been great!
