Born in 1986 in Dallas TX, Kindle The Fire is an independent artist & producer who has been waiting for the smoke to clear so that he can show the world the flames of music that he has been containing. After years of being in the background of the Dallas underground scene, the soulfully influenced musician is ready to take his name to the top of the music industry. Influenced by names like Timbaland, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Usher, and Andre 3000, The Fire Intends to raise the bar even higher than his predecessors.
In 2004, while still in high school, Kindle recorded and produced his first solo project titled ‘Playas Get Ready’. Only a few copies where ever made and sold due to poor recording quality. In 2005 Kindle quickly began work on his next body of work the self-titled ‘Kindle The Fire’. The quality of this production was far more professional sounding than his first project, however only three copies where professionally packaged. The project was later given out for free as a promotional tool.
A third project was started on in 2006, but never completed, titled ‘Still in Da Game’. At this time The Fire was performing at a few open night spots in Dallas’s Deep Ellum Club Strip, with Rap artist Yung Don Von and Loop12Radio founder Dustin Kennedy. Kindle and Dustin collaborated on several Loop12Radio volumes where Kindle lent his vocal talents, voicing the characters, Simpson Stuart, Kiest, and C.F. Hawn.
Soon after this, Kindle decided to put his solo career on hold and “polish” his production skills. In the coming years he began to work with New York native DJ T Spoon, who he credits with “showing me the ropes” of the music industry. In 2007 Kindle meets Dallas artist S. Poe, who sheds more light on the business side of music, and producer Remikx. The three then began work on multiple projects including ‘The Free Jack Fraust Mixtape’ in 2008 & S Poe’s solo project Hughes Springs Veteran in 2013.
In 2012 Kindle and his brother Kross decided it was time to start working on their solo careers. Kindle gathered songs from his unfinished project ‘Still in the Game” and a few tracks from songs he and Kross had worked on, and put together a mix tape titled ‘The Return’. The two have scheduled to release 3 more projects in 2014, a Mixtape and two solo projects. “I need to go back to the old Kindle the Fire before I started rappin’ more mostly R&B on this next one”
