The travails of young love. they meet, their friends don't approve, their parents don't approve, but it works out anyway .
Kid Wezel is a Canadian songwriter/singer. She has been writing songs for a long time but only recently got around to doing anything with them.
She has 20 songs at various MP3 sites and four of these songs are recorded as a professional demo so that they can be shopped.
This year (2003) Kid Wezel co-wrote a new arrangement of a 70's pop/rock song into a jazz version.Band/artist history
I really do not have a band history because I am just a songwriter.
There are certain musicians that collaborate with me and help me to get my stuff recorded and they are notable, for without them, nothing would be on any MP3 site!
These musical collaborators are as follows:
Tim Johns - guitar player/musician. Has arranged guitar parts for all the current songs. Plays guitar on all the recordings, and is the arranger for the four songs going on the new Demo recording.
Eugene Rea - Musician/songwriter/recording engineer. Eugene plays Mandolin, Tin Whistle, guitar on the four demo songs. He is also the recording engineer and the co-producer for the four demo songs.
David Norris-Elye - Musician/songriter/sax player recording engineer. David recorded the first 7 rough demos of my songs at his studio, Towne Music.
Dave Atkins - bass player/wood carver. Dave played bass on three of the songs.
Gary Kreller - Accordion player. Gary plays Accordion on three songs, will play on the fourth of the demo songs.
Alfred Gertler - Amazing (World-Class) Bass player.Have you performed in front of an audience? Not if I can help it. I am songwriter, not a performer. I prefer to leave the performance to professionals who actually know what they are doing.
I do go to live jams sometimes and although have managed to survie, there have been some bad moments where I totally blanked out - couldn't remember the song, the key, the words or ANYTHING. (that's why I would rather just write the songs...)

You are an excellent songwriter. Your music and your attitude is exactly what is needed. Don't stop what you're doing.
Your siren song is very catchy, I like it!
WOWEEZY!
I of course LOVE "Hey Little Girl". Your version is sure to get attention.
I just listened to your other 3 songs here and - WOW!
"The Man From MYSC" is incredible in it's simplicity! I most enjoyed the story behind the reason you wrote the song - wonder if you could do another version that includes that in the lyric structure as a bridge, or even better, as a chorus to come back to about "No-one tells ME where to go!"
Being a fellow Manic Depressive I can relate to you on a heart level on this one.
"Lay The Blame", again the reason behind writing it is as important as the lyrics written - and I completely agree. Though I must shamefully admit that I have been guilty of being negative. I do fight against that daily, with a simple little saying I was taught: Be Solution Oriented - NOT problem focused!
My FAVORITE track is your Jazz offering "Take It Easy". I can empathize with you regarding the muse for this piece, too. I thank God your friend has YOU as a friend! All in a
Take it Easy is a great song. Definitely very catchy and a phrase that we all need to live more by. I like that feel in the song, too, to just take it easy and slow down sometimes. Thanks for the memories. Keep up the great work. Wondering if you could check out my stuff on www.purevolume.com/jimgaven , http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/jimgaven.htm , and www.mp3.com.au/jimgaven . Thank you so much.
