Sitting On Top Of The World Sitting On Top Of The World
Old song, and the inspiration for such as "Come On In My Kitchen". Shades of Corey Harris and, especially, Johnny Shines.

Fishing Blues Fishing Blues
Cheapo ukulele from eBay - I thought it looked sweet (it was the fitted case that really grabbed me...)

Walkin' Blues Walkin' Blues
Furry Lewis, Son House, Robert Johnson... Throw in some Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton... Add a splash of Stefan Grossman...

Black Eye Blues (Hogan's Alley) Black Eye Blues (Hogan's Alley)
Uke again. It was many years ago, doing a floor spot at a folk club in Torquay, that I first heard this sung by a brilliant guitarist called John James.
Hello. My music is acoustic blues (-ish); mainly bottleneck guitar with the odd touch of ukulele.
Band/artist history
Oh my... When I was seven I started learning the violin. A few decades followed covering trumpet, violin, classic guitar, various orchestras and bands, at the end of which time worn out knuckle and thumb joints led me to discover what happens with a glass tube on your finger, and that the frets on the fingerboard can just be there mainly for decoration.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Local "acoustic" clubs.
Your musical influences
Johnny Shines, Corey Harris, Houndog Fraser, and Johnny Shines... And Johnny Shines!
What equipment do you use?
I'm not much into hi-fi, I just like playing music, and all songs are recorded in one take, using a microphone that came with the pc - a nifty little bit of free software enables long recordings through Windows Sound Recorder. My guitar is a Yamaha something (I'll look inside it and update this when I get around to it); my bottlenecks are by www.diamondbottlenecks.com.
Anything else?
It's for fun - what else?

Whoa, hey there! Sounds like a familiar slide and voice. If'n I had my way, "Sittin' On Top Of the World" would be at Number One. Good on ya' and keep 'em coming, please.
We seem to have had some of the same influences. That Houndog Frazier is something, isn't he?
