Kashika is a female producer/DJ based in Sydney, with a preference for Trance, Progressive and Tribal House.Band/artist history
Kashika developed a taste for electronic music of all kinds in the early 90's and started out playing hardcore. She has since played a huge range of styles (and has the record collection to prove it!) She has mixed at various clubs and parties around Sydney, however she is now focusing specifically on her own musical projects.
At the moment Kashika is putting the final touches on her forthcoming (and as yet untitled) CD, of her own original tracks and is actively developing a means to perform her own music live. Her first few tracks will be available here shortly.Have you performed in front of an audience?I'm in the process of developing a show. Electronic music can be difficult live, and I'm trying to identify the best and most unrestricted means of delivering a flexible performance.
Your musical influences
Anything or anyone that makes noise....... African Percussion and any tribal rhythms along with any acidy, dirty sounds that I can throw in with it, psytrance, dark trance and grungy house all influence me.What equipment do you use?
I use both PC and Mac with Logic Audio, Reason 2.5, Oxygen 8 midi, Garageband for basic sequencing, Live, and any plugin I can get my hands on.Anything else?
...............nope...............but I'm kind of hungry at the moment.....Contact

Have now remastered my song "Impulse" and changed some of the sounds. Please listen to it and tell me what you think and I´m going to listen at your song/songs on the holiday. Take Care
Increadable level of energy! I bow to your skill.
listening to angry cookie right now, im likin it a lot, that hard grungy bassline sound is great, i havent heard a sound like that in a while. has this cool tribal/techno feel at the begining and u work it into a sortof dark breakbeat type thing. dont think u could label it as trance, but it definately has some qualities of it. synthwork should definately be noted, nice job with that. i read u use reason, i myself use it too. im happy to see more people composin an actually makin there own music rather than the thousands of peeps usin ejay programs. anyways, nice work, lookin forward to hearin more from u
peace
