The idea of Karhu was spawned about 5 years ago (2007) by vocalist / gutarist Joseph Parry and drummer Oliver Davis-Gower. This year (2012) we finally finished our lineup, got an album done, website finished, tours on the go and all the other good stuff!
We are 2 parts English and 1 part Finnish.
Osku growls and plays guitar, lives in Finland and flies over for tours. We record all of our material in our bedrooms. We aim to play music for a living!Band/artist history

Joe - Custom home built guitar with Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Floyd Rose Red Neck Pickup. Soon to buy an official Floyd Rose floating trem. Ibanez RG7321 string with a Bare Knuckle Aftermath.
Osku - Jackson with Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge, nothing in the middle and a crazy "unlimited note holder thing" in the neck. Ibanez 7 stringer with JB in the bridge.
Ollie - The most miss mashed drum kit you've ever seen, everything from Paiste to Unbranded.
but atm, 4 toms, 1 kick, 1 snare, 3 crashes, a custom china / effects cymbal, a ride and some high hats. Oh there's some cow bells too ;) oh and a splash... *sploosh water sound here*
