Kabbalist born Paul Ferguson who was born in St. Catharine , Jamaica.
A resident of New York and a talented artist in his own right, Kabbalist has been performing since the age of 10. However, his musical specialty is " foundation deejaying", the Jamaican style of "rapping" which some consider a predecessor of modern hip-hop and old school roots like the artist named Brigade Jerry. He is very much at home in this element, as his stage presence attests, and he is also an adept song-writer.
As of 2008 he has released three singles which all made the charts. Kabbalist frequently tours.
Member of ASCAP , Kabbalist's 1st Single "Catwalk" purred its way onto a slew of urban radio stations ,from NY's Hot 97 (FUNKMASTER FLEX) who broke it 1st on the radio to bringing it out to Los Angeles’s Power106.
Addition to his popularity in New York with the hit single "Catwalk" produced by the 45 kings. 275+ spins opening week.
Kabbalist was labeled as break out artist for dance hall music. He has performed with artist such as Peter Rankin, General Lucky, Faith Hill, Dean Frasier, Steel Pulse, Bounty Killer, and 3rd World.
