Demo Song, This song has a few Oriental Cues (hence the name) over a Blues and R&B Bass Line, and a driving, almost Rock Rhythm. Written as a Duo for Trumpet and Sax.

Don't Know How (Demo) Don't Know How (Demo)
Demo Song, This song has a bit of Chicago style R&B influence, but the song is still slowish blues to the bone.

Demo Song, sort of a R&B groove, but more of a Rock influence, lots of movement and counter movement between the Bass Line and Melody.

This is the personal music page for "Junior" Patterson. All the music on this page is a composition I have written, or a clip of one of my performances. As songs are posted, feel free to contact me about using them for usage rights. Some songs (marked as "Demos") are specifically for sale for use by another band to re-record (and include a non-exclusive use license), the song is just a guideline for what was written. Other songs will be marked for inclusion on Compilations, in Movies, TV, or radio. These songs are full studio versions that I have recorded myself. These songs are also available for non-exclusive use rights, should you wish to re-record.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live, but usually with other bands, this is a page just for my talents. Of course like all musicians, I have plenty of horror stories about bands, venues, or gigs, but if I start telling them, then I will never play anywhere again....
Your musical influences
I was tought from a young age as a Jazz musician, add to that I spent several years as a professional classical musician, and have since played in Blues, Funk, Rock (all forms), and country bands, I have amassed a large musical knowledge of styles. Many of my compositions usually have some sort of Traditional Blues hitch to them (in the Delta, Memphis, or Chicago style,) or are some form of Jazz (generally BeBop, or Cool Jazz, for small combos), although, from time to time I rock out and write some grunge/alternative metal based songs.
What equipment do you use?
DW and Pacific Maple Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Remo Heads, a vintage Ludwig Acrolite Snare, an Ibanez Bass, a Peavey Bass Amp, and demos are done with a midi program
