Band/artist history
i started playing guitar when i turned 19 and right before i headed up to my first year of college. i waited a year after my high school graduation to decide what i wanted to do with my life. i thought it was teaching the children about music but decided that it wasn't for me. but i kept playing all through my two years of college. i sung in a punk/rock band for a little bit and performed a couple of small shows at the college. i fell in love with acoustic rock artists and singer/songwriters, so i also fell in love with the acoutic guitar, which is featured on my recently recorded self-titled demo ep.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
i play live as much as i can. the last couple of shows have been a far drive but i dont mind.
Your musical influences
i listen singer/songwriters like michelle branch and duncan sheik. i enjoy pop rock bands like the goo goo dolls and the gin blossoms. but my LOVE is for the punk/rock/emo/indie rock genre bands like relient k, slick shoes, rufio, philmore, further seems forever, dashboard confessional, the used, thrice, afi, the weakerthans, ace troubleshooter, five iron frenzy, brandston, jimmy eat world, blink/green day/sum41, the all american rejects, the starting line, new found glory, element 101, the rocking horse winner, fall out boy, the early november...
What equipment do you use?
i used an oscar schimdt acoustic/electric guitar on the self-titled demo ep. but i now use a fender dc-11e acoustic/electric.
