Instrumental Rock

For the first time available on the internet, the Josh Lennon Project is here. Featured in such bands as Blackout, Obsolete, Forever Blind, and the legendary Funkasauris, the multi-instrumentalist displays a wide variety of music styles, but the latest effort, the Project IV, is of a progressive jazz metal sort.
Band/artist history
In the summer of 2000, I got a hold of a four track tape recorder and began recording material that I, along with my band Obsolete had been working on. That winter, I got my own digital eight track, and 6 months later, released two full-length cds of music - Obsolete Dose (old and new songs performed by me) and the Josh Lennon Project, a collection of pop rock tunes and ballads. A few months later, the Project II was finished. By May 2003, the Project III was completed, and winter of 2004 saw the release of the greatest effort yet, the Project IV.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
This summer I'll be playing with Funkasauris and the newly formed Sausage Hostage - there definately be some great jam sessions so check us out. Also, Forever Blind will hopefully be playing some shows around the Waltham area this summer.
Your musical influences
Prog rock! Bands like Dream Theater, Planet X, Pain of Salvation, Spock's Beard and Transatlantic, Opeth, Killswitch Engage, and of course, Stoker himself!
What equipment do you use?
All music on the Project IV was created using the Godin LGX-SA 3-voice guitar, a Zoom drum machine, and my voice.
Anything else?
My band, Forever Blind, rocks the metal world with our first full-length release. Check out www.red-colored.org/foreverblind for more details, pics, and sound clips. A new side project, Sausage Hostage is in the infant stages now as writing and rehearsing has only begun, but be sure to check out our cd this summer.
