Electronica

Worldwide Isolation 2.0 Worldwide Isolation 2.0

Originally recorded in 2002. The Internet was still young. The social network had not even been thought of. Call it premonition, but I knew it would happen. The more people are connected, the more isolated they become.

Electronica

Karl Karl

Karl Hyde of Underworld is a huge influence. I just wanted everyone to know.

Electronica

Taurus/Antilles/Argiers Taurus/Antilles/Argiers

Mash-up of three favorite instrumentals from two of my favorite artists: 'Taurus' is from Mike Oldfield's excellent QE2 album. 'Antilles' is from Midge Ure's The Gift. Argiers was arranged by Mike Oldfield for his Collaborations collection.

Another great song by Crazy Bat sh** that he allowed me to remix.

Electronica

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, and I like to think that my songs sound different from each other, unlike some electronica artists. I've been told that I make simple loop-based programs sound more 'organic' and less like a bunch of pre-defined snippets of music just stuck together.
Band/artist history
I've been making music since 1985, but only got 'serious' about it in 1999.
Your musical influences
My biggest idols are Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, and Alan Parsons. I also listen to a lot of Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Yello, Laurie Anderson, Underworld, and bt.
What equipment do you use?
Reason, Acid, Fruity Loops, SoundForge
Anything else?
Be sure to send me your comments. I like to know if I'm touching people, and also how to make my songs better. Check out my other bands on SoundClick. Ramstein is my silly side - you'll love it. Horror Borealis is my darker side. Band logo courtesy of Roger House.
