Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 25th, 1986, John began his love affair with music at a very early age, plinking out melodies on the piano at just 3 years old. On his 7th birthday, John received a special gift from his uncle; an electric guitar. He might not have known it at the time, but that unassuming, six-stringed device would change his life. By the age of 12, he was playing several hours every day, learning what he could from artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bela Fleck and various classic rock guitarists, as well as composing his own ideas. Over the course of the next 6 years, he continued to broaden his musical horizons by becoming proficient on several other instruments including piano, bass, drums, saxophone, and banjo. At 17, he and fellow Oklahoman Jeremiah Kerby formed what would become the band "A.D.D" and went on to record three full length albums, along with several independently released EP's, and together toured the gulf coast and gained a small, but loyal fan base across the country. During his time with A.D.D, John was privileged to travel to Nashville and record with two of the most notable names in the songwriting industry, Gordon Kennedy and Wayne Kirkpatrick, who helped them produce their debut album. After three years with the band, the members decided to part ways and pursue other things. By that time, John had gained a very strong understand of recording and mixing techniques, as well as a stable foundation in songwriting. Having all of these tools in his arsenal, John began work on his debut album "Boarding Pass". With the release nearing, he continues to focus on bettering himself as a musician, a songwriter, and as a producer. Throughout his career, John has shared a stage with acts such as The Nixons, Hanson, and 30 Seconds to Mars, as well as spending time as the percussionist and guitarist for the American Theatre Company.
