Beautiful. I was sitting here holding my fussing 6 week old
when I found your page off the Christmas charts & as soon as this piece started she immediately became calm.
You have some lovely work here; I've really enjoyed how much of a sense of you your music holds.

This is just plain old pretty man. Even with that screamin guitar, pretty still comes to mind. lol Musical.

Hey John!
Thanks for your nice comment on my arrangement. I will let you in on a secret: I agree with you on the drums. I didn't use my favorite stuff, NOR did I take ANY time on the drums (as I did on my Christmas CD which will be made available at soundclick soon). In fact (keep it low), my wife and I recorded and mixed this all in one day. I heard about the contest on the last day before the deadline, and dragged her in the studio, then I just threw it all together. So THERE's my excuse for the lousy drums. And if we were not so critical, our music would sound horrible! Keep being critical!
I will be back to you for a rating and a comment on your tune in a day or so.
Just wanted to say thanks, and I agree with the CHEAP drums!

Great job on this track on all counts... production, performance, and arrangement. I really like how it starts out very mellow and low key with just the piano and then the additional instruments are added into the progression. The part where the electric guitar kicks in adds incredible dynamics to the song. Well deserving of a 5 my friend, best of luck in the final round of the contest.

Well... what can I say. I think the tune itselv (not your tune) is quite boring, but you performe well. The electric guitar gives it a bit extra in the end, but it never really peaks. However - I think that's what you've intended. Well - I give you fullhouse anyway because it is a nice and very qualified try to make this tune work :-)

Hey ya. :)
Very nice arrangement of this tune - it works well that you have a mellow guitar, and then suddenly a wild distorted one - gives the tune a nice lift. :)
Good job. :)
All the best in the competition and the future! :)
