The McCartney Quest The McCartney Quest
Somehow pure hip hop was delivered here in the form of an ode to the former Beatle. Listen, the connection makes sense I swear, lol. Meant to be listened to as a continuous mix with Jr. High Mixtape immediately following this track.
Junior High Mixtape Junior High Mixtape
Hiphop influences from '89 (verse1), '93 (v2) & electronica and rock (v3) discussed @ 83 beats per min changinginto double time w/ drum efx & homemade sound efx. Hear this after McCartney Quest in continous mix- hip hop becomes drum n bass.
Crates Crates
used some old 45's from the 1930's at half speed.... this is a club joint at 100 beats per minute.
The Dropout Journal The Dropout Journal
Title track and the opening chapter of the Dropout Accounts- a song about my life early on in college with alchohol derailment and addiction issues. produced by scott avery.
Hungry Hungry
For the broke college student. This is chapter 2 to the actual "Dropout Accounts" when i found myself penniless in college pondering my next move and how i was going to pay rent after i had moved out on my own and became a self supported student.

John Coulter, aka, J C:
25 year old caucazoid male.
former college student.
CD IS AVAILABLE UNDER THE "STORE" LINK ON THIS PAGE WITH 3 HOURS OF MUSIC ON CD AND MULTIMEDIA CD.
This rapper/producer is still reminiscing on the hip hop that came out circa 1993. J C maintains a forward looking outlook stylistically however by blending in elements of drum and bass and venturing into virtually unexplored sampling realms of classic rock, very early 1920-1930's jazz, cinema, etc.
He Doesn't believe hip hop should be served in small bite sized portions; the sound will challenge you.
His debut album, "Phases", came out in 2001. Much of that album is available for download at www.soundclick.com/jclostdemos.
The current album linked directly from this page is "The Dropout Accounts", a very accurate autobiographical journal of 7.5 years spent in college chasing the almighty dollar and narrowly missing being cut up in the gauntlet known as narcotics. Follow each track for a chronological retelling of the trials and tribulations starting with "The Dropout Journal", produced by Scott Avery. With that track and the exception of "Believer" produced by the UK's own DJ Criminal, the entirety of this album was painstakingly produced by J C himself over the period of three and a half years.J C has been writing and performing in the game for 12 years and involved in production for five years.Rakim
