Song: Sextet In D, Movement 2
beautiful......got a little jazzy and film score feel, the piano is great, composition sounded like a ballade to me,its touching..........the only thing i dont like is that strings sounded cheap,my ears want to hear real perfomance(i think this is a perfomance from a daw?),just to make a balance between (great)composition and sound

Hi Joel, just listened to 'On th Road' Excellent composition and arrangement! Great production too. When did you write this? I'm sure I've heard it somewhere before. Maybe a theme song for TV series?

Without a Home (version 8) is VERY tasty! I had to add it to my station. Very heartfelt! The pizzicato was very well used...and then when the main theme comes in...stunning. My only complaint is you cutting off the tail of that last note! Grrr!
I look forward to hearing more from you!

Joel, Your Musical Touch to Tricia Baker's Lyrics... on the Song
Ballerina Beautiful..is absolutely
beautiful. I had the pleasure of hearing the vocals on this....and it
literally took my breath away. I wish all involved in this project the very best with it......I have told Tricia I will eat my hat...if it doesn't get a "home" and a good home at that.
Best to you.....

"without a home" is an very romantic song, with a tender structure and well selected instruments. one could replace a part of the violin with that to a flute. very professional production. it pleases me well.

Joel, Thanks for your comments and ideas regarding my tune "shut your mouth." I appreciate the comparison to "Ten Years After." I've heard some of their music, but I'll make an effort to listen to more of their tunes.
The "nazi" thing is a line from Monty Python and I didn't mean any offense, but you are right, that is kind of a "hot" word. Thanks again for your feedback. Have a great day. BC

Hi Joel!
I contacted you once before for a collaboration here in Houston. I haven't been up to much lately but I finally put together and finished a version of a symphonic song (Victory). If you're interested in getting this recorded live or with better equipment, let me know, :D

Hi Joel!
I said I would pay a visit and boy am I glad I did. Listening to "Nothing Changes" as I write.Love the piano and as Leif( Alderman) says it conjures up a lot of beautiful images. Production is spot on in my opinion and I see this as the backdrop to a Love story where we see the hero travelling through the country to his loved one, maybe taking a day or two. The scene has no dialogue but we just see the images that he does. A wonderful piece Joel and agai, thank you for your comments on my music. I have to say that I felt this finished rather abruptly or was that intentional or maybe I was enjoying it and got annoyed it had ended....lol
Take CAre
Andy :) will be back to listen some more.

Thank you for your comment !
Like you said , you dont know hip hop , right ? How come you know bounce is a Hip Hop song then ? got cha . In the soundclick rules it says : "... all instrumentals have to posted in instrumentals " ? Got cha .
" Runnin " features strings right ? Thats classical .
See I appreciate to get help from more expierienced artists like you ,
or even critism in a constructive way . But what you posted in this forum was non of that . I respect you as an artist .
God Bless .

Thanks for Your review Joel, Happy New Year. I'm pretty new to all of this, so comments like yours can really help me out alot. I checked out "Scar Tissue" as well, it would be a good fit for a horror movie or to lend some type of mystery feel to something.

Hi Joel,ccMany thanks for the advice re: my piece Summer Solstice. You are obviously an accomplished and talented musician and I enjoyed listening to your work. One thing, I realise that most of these pieces are demos, but they would benefit from some better string samples.ccNice work!ccccAl H
