My writing influences vary from one period of time to the next. Dolly Parton has played a big role in my music. Very heartfelt. Strong yet sweet. She can paint a story in your mind with her music. Reba McEntire has had the biggest influence on me. She has so much inner strength and she shines through her smile and her voice. When Nashville told her no, She said watch me!
I tend to use songwriting as an outlet for emotions when life gets to be too rough. Music has been my saving grace from insanity. Sometimes my songs are so deep and personal that i actually cry when i sing them. Maybe I'm just a sentimental and overly emotional girl.
I play the guitar. Im not really any good, but I can get the idea accross with the limited chords I know :)
