It is acoustic folky rocky with an Irishy kind of flavour. I added some pixies and fairies in the background for a bit of fun. And a tambourine.

Hey I am Jivana. I play quirky rocky poppy tunes. I have been writing for abiout four years. I have recently decided I want to do this for a living so am going to pursue it more hard out from now on. I am from NZ. I ahve a kind of alternativey voice that has been likened to John Lennon, Syd Barret, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Pearl Jam, REM. I am a hopeless romantic and write a lot of love songs. My favourite band growing up was Roxette so it is safe to say Per Gessle's bubby gummy rock tunes and melancholic romantic ballads have also had an influence on my music style.
Wrote my first song when I was about 9. It was a love song. But didn't pick up a guitar til I was about 20. Have taught myself and struggled, cos I'm a bit shy. But am getting better and better. Taught meself piano too. Am now 26.
Yup. Am playing at Brix Bar on K Road. I play at Grand Central, All Nations bar, have played at the Temple, and the Dogs Bollocks Bar.
I don't know. Everyone who I have ever listened to has influenced me in some way. But Beatles, Roxette, REM, Simon and Garfunkle, The Verve, Oasis, Radiohead, The Pogues, Elvis Costello and probably some old timers like the Animals, the Eagles and the Hollies.
acoustic and electric guitar, tambourine and me. Samsonite suitcase for drums, piano. Hoping soon to incorporate a violin or fiddle and would really like a sitar player. Possible a trumpet too.
Anyone want to form a band. Come and have a jam? Please call. For fun and in all seriousness
