The Jim Nazzstix concept is newish, the idea of the music has been taking it's natural course, as music has always done automatically through time. It's the idea of fusing styles of music into one, the rest just comes from the heart to the fingers generated by the influences of your musical schooling and exposure. I try to mix Swing/R&B/Rockabilly/Bebop/Country plus what ever else is spontaneous and that's where the Jim Nazzstix thing comes in as Fretboard/String & Finger Jimnazzstix (so to speak) add to the equation.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, small venues where we can whip up a storm.
Your musical influences
I first started listening as a serious guitarist to Carlos Santana & Al Demiola then guys like Ian Moss from Cold Chisel & Dave Dobbyn Then l discovered Brian Setzer and what he was trying to do with roots RocknRoll then l moved away to my own style and onwards from there to R&B/RocknRoll/Swing/Jazz/Rockabilly a mixture of influences.
What equipment do you use?
A collection of acoustic guitars, electric semi-acoustic Ibanez & Gretsch, solid body Fender strat and strat copy's. I use Line 6 & Fender amps in stereo where possible. l use Protools recording equipment.
Anything else?
I'd like to thank the man who invented electricity.
