I'm a UCLA student and trying to record songs, play at open mics, and ultimately get my music out to the masses and cut a CD. Don't know how I'll do it, but any suggestions would be more than kick ass.
I guess my style is pop/rock/acoustic? Just take a listen and see for yourself.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play at open mics, and currently I'm trying to get gigs lined up.
Weirdest moment was my first performance at a Border's open mic. It ended up being a punk band open mic type thing, and there I was, with just my dinky acoustic guitar, singing some corny love song. Awkward Awkward Awkward

I'm a big fan of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Panic at the Disco, Dashboard Confessionals, Jason Mraz, Scissor Sisters, John Legend, and Darren Flowers. I'd say I write pop-rock songs. I like letting my range of emotions come into my songs. Most of my songs have a laid back vibe.What equipment do you use?
