Jeffry Allred Band
Bass and guitar driven rock, reminiscent of 80's era bands. Vocally raw and sometimes gritty, with a splash of strings, piano and the kitchen sink. No really.

"The Band" actually resides in my Apple computers, an iMac and MacBook pro. I play all the instruments except drums and they are programed by me in FXpansion's BFD drum software, fills are done on an Alesis ControlPad.
Band/artist history
I have been playing professionally off and on since 1978. I've done rock, jazz, lounge, metal, and now I'm still doing all the above with a Christ-like attitude.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not at this time, I used to but that was another life. I do intend to eventually do some live stuff. I do the occasional worship group thing at my church from time to time.
Your musical influences
Yes, Steely Dan, King Crimson, Motley Crue, man this list could go a long time. People like Paul McCartney, Chris Squier, John Entwistle, Sting, (Did I mention I was mainly a bass player?) and Phil Keaggy have been big influences as well.
What equipment do you use?
Apple MacBook Pro and 24" iMac, MOTU 828 mkII Interface, Yamaha KX8, M-Audio Axiom 25, Alesis Padcontroller, Ableton Live 8, Logic Pro 8, IK's Sampletank and Amplitube, Absynth 3, 1974 Rick 4001, Fender Jazz bass 5 string, Ibanez Artcore Talman, Peavey Tupelo acoustic, Modified Epi Les Paul, Gibson Les Paul Classic, Schecter Stiletto 5 string bass, Fender FMT Telecaster, Michael Kelly Dragonfly Fretless acoustic bass. Focusrite preamps, Lexicon MX200 reverb, TC Electronic Powercore effects, Line 6: Bass floor POD, UX2 interface and POD X3 Live guitar processors.
